technical lectures and "The Princess Bride"
Imagine, if you will, that you were taking a class on some advanced programming language concepts...from the Sicilian from The Princess Bride.
This has been my life for the last day and a half. The instructor doesn't look much like the actor, but the voice (accent and inflections) is about an 85% match. And because some of these topics involve back-and-forth self-debating like the scene with the iocane powder, the auditory resemblance is even stronger.
I am amused. :)
