things that you apparently can't make out of human breast milk

(Seriously, why is it called 'breast milk' rather than 'human milk' or 'humans' milk'? We don't call cows' or goats' milk 'udder milk'...)

The reason why it doesn't work is particularly interesting: apparently human milk can't curdle.

Probably because we would then be claiming kinship to cows and goats which would be too close for the comfort of most people. Isn't that why they call us "human"? [sigh]

Either that, or because it sounds too much like "human flesh" which very few people would want to admit to consuming.

Yeah, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. The short answer is: not really. I haven't been able to remember my password in months, so I assume there's nothing in there that's particularly important. Originally I'd been planning to use it as an account for doing personal web hosting, and I may still develop a need for that...but for now let's just ax it, and if I need such a thing again, I'll ask. :)

On a related note, I've been meaning to ask you to delete the MMM mailing list, because it's been basically dead for years now. I have separate archives, so we don't need to keep it around for that.

Hi right back at you. Where are you these days? Any chance of seeing you any time soon? I haven't seen Ada in forever, either...
