and now presenting...
Megan and I are very pleased and proud to present our son, Corwin Alexander O'Madadhain, to the world and vice versa. He was born Tuesday, 1 February 2005, at 6:23 PM. At birth he was 9 pounds 3 ounces, and 21.5 inches long. He appears to be healthy; he has large hands and feet (and particularly long toes; we're already booking the vaudeville circuit for The Boy Who Plays Piano With His Feet), and hair and complexion (currently) something like Megan's. Megan delivered Corwin via Caesarian section; she came through just fine and is recovering well.
(I may post some more narrative details later, but this should do to answer the obvious questions raised by my previous post. ;> )
We have posted some pictures of Corwin and his support staff at http://www.ics.uci.edu/~jmadden/corwin ; as we have more pictures, we will post them there as well.

I love the picture of you holding him.
OK, if I can't bring baby toys, I guess I'll have to bring more parent toys. Not that you'll have any time for them, any more. ;)
