a VIAC-worthy screwup

BoingBoing reports that you can't file a disaster claim on fema.gov unless you're using Internet Explorer on Windows.

(The subject is inspired by my friend [livejournal.com profile] fdmts, whose reaction to such gratuitous standards-ignoring as this is typically "VALHALLA, I AM COMING!!!!". It's a Led Zeppelin thing.)

Dumbasses.

There is another usage. [livejournal.com profile] amnesiadust has been heard to say, "VALHALLA! Chris is coming."

It's really funny when he does it in person. Seriously.

Wait, is this the same Microsoft that the federal government can't seem to stick with any sort of monopoly or trust-busting laws? Wait...my conspiracy sense is tingling...

"VALHALLA! Chris is coming."

*snork*

Regarding your latter comment: recently I coined the phrase "conspiracy experimentalist" (as opposed, of course, to "conspiracy theorist"). I have a few friends that might be able to make good use of it (or at least good mention); you're one of them. Have fun. ;)
