BoingBoing reports that you can't file a disaster claim on fema.gov unless you're using Internet Explorer on Windows.

(The subject is inspired by my friend fdmts, whose reaction to such gratuitous standards-ignoring as this is typically "VALHALLA, I AM COMING!!!!". It's a Led Zeppelin thing.)

Regarding your latter comment: recently I coined the phrase "conspiracy experimentalist" (as opposed, of course, to "conspiracy theorist"). I have a few friends that might be able to make good use of it (or at least good mention); you're one of them. Have fun. ;)
