AI Cited for Unlicensed Practice of Law

http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2007/03/ai_cited_for_un.html

This is just beautiful. Honestly, I laughed out loud for sheer joy when I read this. Fortunately my officemate had already read the article and agreed that it was a wonderful thing.

It would have been even better, of course, had the AI itself been cited rather than its creator--and it sounds like the AI in question wasn't doing a very good job--but despite all that I find this both encouraging and hilarious.

So what would it take for an AI to pass the bar?

If it has the Dipsomania disadvantage at -5, I think that it would take at least a Will score of 7.

*ba-dum-ching* Don't tip your waitress, folks, she's working double shifts and she might not be able to get back up...

...it's the Mack truck of puns: it's obvious, relatively easy to avoid with a little forethought, and really painful if it hits you. :)

The original is a good question, though, in all seriousness. I have no real idea what the procedure is for a person, so it's hard to figure out how it might change.
