Both parties must be destroyed. The Democrats have failed in a one on one contest, and the Republicans have been driven insane by power.
In a two party system, politics is a zero sum game. We are about to enter two years of unabashed brutality, during which the republicans will push this country so far to the right that I will be 60 years old before we set it back to a moderate middle ground.
I'm working towards any effort which will break the two party monopoly. Right now I see open primaries and instant runoff elections. What else have we got in the bag?
