Megan and I saw SoaP this weekend. As I (and no doubt many others) have said elsewhere, it's pretty much exactly what we expected given the title. Pretty good, rather overdone in spots, funny in spots.
The phrase "roller-coaster of a film" and the like is rather overused, but I think that it's actually pretty apt here: you are hardly ever surprised by this movie, but it's hard to keep from viscerally reacting to bits of it anyway--even in some of the most flagrantly telegraphed actions and scenes.

Includes an amusing exploration of the different ways in which "Snakes on a Plane" can be used as a part of speech.
A list of "[Blank] on a [Blank]" films that people have come up with recently: http://www.originalalamo.com/sites/2blanks/films.aspx
(I'm disappointed that "Ferrets on a Panel Truck" hasn't made it up there. Yet, anyway.)
