'That modeled the wrong behavior,' explained a Sesame Street executive producer, adding that 'we might not be able to create a character like Oscar [the Grouch] now.'"


I think I speak for many of my friends when I say: oh, for [INSERT DEITY HERE]'s sake. Yeah, some real dangerous messages and adult situations in those early episodes.
