The mind boggles.
Up to this point, I gave the "where am I going to live" question a number of different spins, but I guess I need to start including the "what kind of loons are going to be teaching my kids?" question (as well as the "what kind of loons are on the local and state school boards enforcing curriculum insanities?" question).
For the record, I know that schools run by religious organizations are not all bad; my sisters and I both went to one for high school (in my case, for my freshman year only). In particular, the Catholics and the Jesuits--in my experience, anyway--generally have their educational heads screwed on reasonably well, although I didn't enjoy being required to take a religion class.
Update: fortunately, it seems pretty likely that this is a hoax (if a very detailed one); check out this page from the same site.
It's getting harder to tell the satire sites from the real deals...and the satire stories from the real ones. (As The Onion has been showing us for years.)
