via Slashdot: Study Links Genetic Diseases to Intelligence

This seems an interesting theory, at least. I am reminded of the sickle-cell trait vs. sickle-cell anemia phenomenon (the former gives you some protection against malaria, the latter--caused by the reinforced gene--is a disease). The page referenced above provides a link to the actual study, if'n you're curious.
