I knew what you meant (or, at least I had assumed that I did and it turns out I was right :> ), I just thought it a combination worth remarking upon; most people don't sincerely offer thanks for such things. (I do, but I think we're in the minority. Must be the grad school. :P :) )

Thanks for the xkcd pointer. Some other time (like, when I'm not at work) I'm going to have to burn through the archives. (I'd already recently been introduced to "sudo make me a sandwich", which made me happy. :) )
