Sadly, many, if not most, geeks have not experienced much of this sort of positive reinforcement. :)

Well, given that I've swooned over geeks since childhood, and given that almost all of my SOs have been geeks, I think it must be part of my mission in life to remedy that situation.

And what a delightful mission it is. ;)
