Check out the "customers who bought this also bought" section...although note that it's distinctly Not Safe For Work.

Okay, I was shocked by this as well, and very confused. Then I mentioned it to [livejournal.com profile] saratchka and she figured it out instantly. You know how there's a pretty famous... marital aid... called "the rabbit" - mostly likely amazon was just doing a search on "rabbit" and picking out the "also bought" items from that search result. WHEW.

Actually I doubt that's it; I'm pretty sure that if they were doing the "also bought" sections on that basis that they'd frequently make no sense whatsoever. It's also probably both faster and easier to keep track of the actual top 10 item-buyer (or item/basket) correlations than to do a search every time a page is loaded.

However, if it makes you feel better, by all means go with that assumption. ;)

There is one other possiblity - that the enemas are actually used for putting stuffing-like things in the middle of said rabbit. That doesn't explain the undies however...

I'm leaning towards the "intentional engineering by customers" theory at this point; check out the items tagged with "fresh whole rabbit":

http://www.amazon.com/tag/fresh%20whole%20rabbit/ref=tag_dpp_cust_itdp_t

and read the reviews for _them_ (especially the Tuscan Whole Milk and the Land Cruiser).

Hey! The JL421 Badonkadonk Land Cruiser has been on my wish list for years! :)

They're gone now, but the customer reviews for the Harry Potter vibrating brooms were truly hilarious. As expected, they were full of tongue in cheek innuendo.

There used to be a great tradition of off-the wall "Family Circus" reviews, but sadly, most of them have been removed. Here's a sample:

"To re-do the passion of Jesus Christ using the characters from the Family Circus was a bold and daring venture that only Bill Keane could pull off successfully.

With PJ as Christ, and Billy as Judas, especially, we are shown an unexpectedly shocking and accurate crucifixion scene; Idaknow as Pilate especially shines through here.

Kudos to Keane for keeping the TRUE meaning of Easter here!"
