I'm only working in the Seattle office on an occasional basis, so it shouldn't be a big deal on a continuing basis. In any case, part of this was just the perfect storm of transit screwups; I don't expect it to be anything like that bad most of the time, especially now that I know what bus numbers to _actually_ look for. *crosses fingers* (And hopefully that will get fixed now that I've submitted a bug on it. We can hope.)
I am now feeling somewhat guilty because I drove in today instead...and there were hardly any slowdowns at all. If that turns out to be typical, I'm going to have to work harder at being virtuous on those days I'm in Seattle: it's easy to decide to take the bus in to Kirkland when I'm traveling during rush hour because the traffic on that side of the lake is generally bad.
Really looking forward to moving closer to work...in a year or two. :P
