Date: 23 October 2004 21:26 (UTC)I should clarify that I'm young enough that I don't expect Alzheimer's any time in the easily foreseeable future, and I have no particular reason to believe that I'm susceptible. It is the nature of Alzheimer's--the loss of memory, and thus of intellectual capacity, and eventually of self--that disturbs me.
By the way, I don't plan on disabling anonymous posting, but I prefer that people sign their comments, so that I know to whom I'm speaking.
