1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal...along with these instructions.
Usually I don't care for LJ memes a lot, but when I idly checked the nearest book, this is the sentence I got:
"It was one of the few times I agreed with him."
What else could I do? :)
For bonus points, here are the other two "closest" books' results:
"In fact, a break-up occurs only very rarely."
"The constant c is determined by a boundary condition on y(0)."
Which says something about the random crap on my desk, I think.

Date: 12 November 2004 15:15 (UTC)Yes, my other two nearest books were a translation of Cicero's works and the guide to Darkside of Xeen. The latter didn't have sentences on page 23, it had monster stats. :)
