Of course--as long as we're being intellectually snarky here--they're missing a potentially significant cost: that incurred when one believes that the seat is down and acts accordingly...and it's not.

Date: 3 June 2007 16:59 (UTC)The first week we had our current set of cats, one of them fell into the toilet. (She was perhaps 3 months old at the time.) So it's perhaps not quite so bizarre as you might suppose. :)
