I was talking with my officemate about the problems that Megan and I have been having with finding a used minivan that has certain specific properties; it's become difficult because we found something within epsilon of The Perfect Van about a month ago, and just missed being able to buy it. Thing is, because we found something so close, it's hard for other vans not to suffer by comparison, so we've passed up a couple of opportunities where perhaps we shouldn't.

His suggestion was that I should take a dose of Lethe (i.e., to the non-classically-edumacated out there, that we should try our best to forget about that van we missed).

My instantaneous response was "Oh, Lethe, you're so fine/You're so fine, you wipe my mind/Oh Lethe."

You know, if I weren't me, I'd wonder about me sometimes.
