The license plates that Megan and I have acquired are, sadly, unpersonalizable; they're special editions (one for national parks, and one for endangered wildlife) that have two fixed letters and five numbers.
The number on the one for the minivan reads '02248'. Now, if the first digit were 1 I could claim that it was a multiplicative variant of the Fibonacci sequence or something...but that doesn't quite work.
However, recently I happened to see it in the rear-view mirror--and it appears to read "BASSO". (At least if you see it out of the corner of your eye, or squint a bit.)
This makes me profoundly (as it were) happy. :)
