No, I really do mean literally a fully functional harpsichord built out of Legos.

Sounds like crap, I'm afraid, but the important part is that it sounds like a crappy harpsichord. (It sounds to me as though the strings aren't held under sufficient tension to keep them from buzzing; as a result it actually sounds something like that stereotyped Oriental stringed instrument that shows up in stereotyped Oriental soundtracks--except without the pitch-bending.)

Certainly, and it's quite impressive. This is impressive in sort of a different way, IMO--it's more of a music/engineering geeky thing as opposed to a "let's explore the visual artistic potentials of Lego" thing. Like the printer that someone (one of the Google founders, I think?) made out of Legos a while back, or the Tinker Toys construction that played perfect Tic-Tac-Toe. (I appreciate your making sure that I'm aware of it, though.)
