jrtomMost of y'all have presumably heard of Terry Bisson's "They're Made Out Of Meat".
This evening I was combing my address book (its hair gets kind of scraggly otherwise) to make sure I was contacting everyone I needed to about our upcoming pilgrimage to Portland during the latter part of this month. I ran across the URL for a website associated with a friend L of my sister C that I met in the Bay last summer--a cool person that's a lot of fun to go to a Rush concert with.
Anyway, I bounced over, discovered that L was a freelance artist and CGI animator and so forth, and in glancing at her resume discovered that she'd apparently created an animation of the first part of the above story. Pretty cool.
I like it when my social and intellectual universe knots itself in amusing ways like this. :)
