Hmm. I'll be interested to see how that works for them. (Ditto for that company that prices tracks according to how many copies they've sold...although the fact that I can't remember their name is not a good sign.)

You know, those Slashdot sequences:

2. Do something obvious that follows from #1

4. Profit!

This article (really, a series of vignettes) explores the business models of an interesting selection of professions and establishments, which (for instance) will give you an idea how dollar stores manage to stay in business. Haven't had time to read much of it yet.
