I think that the article tries too hard to make the argument that you can't infer _anything_ about someone from this sort of online presence (which I think is clearly false), but I think that the author's main point is valid nonetheless.

So, um, there's this workshop (HotBots 2007, if you care) that I'm attending in Boston next Tuesday for work. Flights have not yet been arranged--this is all very last-minute, and for once it's not my fault
:)--but if things go as they expect I should be in Boston starting around 5 Monday evening, and available for socializing then and possibly again Tuesday evening.

If you live in the area and will be available for hanging out, please let me know; it would be great to see whatever subset of you can be arranged. :)
